The autumn meeting of the Wellington Trot big Club was a complete success. The weather was favourable and there was a big attendance. The track was on the soft side for racing. There was a good totalisator turnover. The results are:— Improvers’ Handicap (harness), one mile and a half. —4 Steel Wire (Tro,nev) 1. 1 All Fours 2,2 Tui Wildwood 3. ’ Also started: 4 First Imperial, 2 Wee Gay, 5 Silvie Logan, 1) Bara Gold, 10 Pointcrwood. 7 Noble Dillon, 3 Little Iluio. Won bv three-quarters of a length with half a length between second and third. Time, 3.44. Beach Handicap (harness), one mile and a. half.—2 Shine- Soon (B. Edwards) .1, 18 Direct Todd 2, 3 Ariki 3.
