Following a family’ quarrel, in which Alexander Strong, aged 57, is alleged to have threatened the menxberis of hi® family, at Smith’s Creek, near Murwilluinlbah, his son, Bruce Strong, aged 26, is alleged to have fired two [shots from a rifle at his father, killing him. Bruce Strong has been arrested and charged with murder. In a statement to the police he said he fired in self-defence.
