FAREWELL MEETING FOR AMERICANS’.
(BY TKLEORAPIr PRESS' ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND. March 141 The American athlete Schulz, at liis farewell .sports meeting yesterday, ran 220 yards in 21 2-sseos.. beating N. .T. Grehan’s Australasian record of 21 3-ssecs. He won .the first heat of the 100 yards handicap off .scratch, in 10 seconds, .but did not compete -in the final. , He. won the 250 yards Invitation Handicap off .scratch in 25 secs. Hahn won. the one mile handicap off scratch in 4mi-n 22 2-ssecs.
The Americans leave by the Niagara on Tuesday.
