ECONOMY BILL.
INTRODUCED AT LAST. AMOUNT OF SAYINGS NOT SPECIFIED. by cable—press association -copyright Received 1.50 p.m. to-day. LONDON, March 10. The eagerly awaited Economy Bill has been introduced by Mr Winston Churchill-in the Commons. At present it does not indicate the extent of the savings anticipated, but a comprehensive preamble mentions provisions for reducing charges on public funds, increasing funds to meet such charges by an amendment of the laws relating to health and unemployment insurance, the registration of electors, the holding of elections, education, bankruptcy, companies winding-up schemes, certain other fees and postmarks. The Bill was read for the first time. —Reuter.
