WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. The Wellington regatta was rowed yesterday in good weather, though during the first half rain fell. The second haLf of the races were held at Petone, where the water was comparatively smooth. The results of the races were as follow:
Junior pairs.—Petone !, Blenheim 2, Wanganui 3, Union 4. Senior single sculls. —St. Clair (Hamilton) 1, Bright (Wellington) 2, Trail (Wanganui) 3, Union 4. Maiden pairs.—Wairau 1. Blenheim 2, Petone 3. Junior single sculls (Bridson Challenge Cup.—Campbell (Aramalio) 1, Newton (Star) 2, Burns (Wanganui) 3. Senior fours. —Hamilton (Sun drop, Bay ley, St. Clair, Curtis) 1. Waitemata 2, Petone 3, Star 4. Youths’ four®. —Wairau 1, Star 2, Blenheim 3.
