FLO’S LETTER.
A sweet little baby brother Had come to live with Flo, And she wanted it brought to the table That it might eat and l grow. , “You must wait a bit,’’ said Grandma In answer to her plea. “A litt’e thing that hasn’t teeth. Can’t eat like you and me.” So that afternoon to the corner With paper, pen and ink Went Flo saying, “Now don’t you move. Or vouTl ’sturb my think. T’m going to write a letter To send to heaven to-night. And ’cause it is very important, I want to get it right.” At last the letter was finished—< A wonderful letter to see— Directed up to Heaven. Then Flo read it to me: Dear God, — The baby you sent us Was so awfully nice and swjeet, But ’cause you forgot his toofiies, Th € poor little thing can’t eat. So that’s why I’m writing this letter On purpose to let you know, Please come back and finisli the baby; And that’s a'l, from Tuttle Flo.
