In the third act " a number of the audience clambered up on to the stage and a free fight with the actors occurred lie fore the shouting audience. When the curtain was lowered a man swinging thereon was knocked by one of the actors into the orchestra. Women then began smashing the music stands. Mr W. B. Yates, the poet, vainly appea'ed for order. Eventually the police arrived, and the play proceeded to the end in spite of repeated interruptions.
