Mr Lang is now considering a proposal to increase the amount of preference granted by the Government departments to locally-manufactured goods. The Premier’s proposal is to increase the preference granted to New South Wales goods to 30 per cent., to goods from other States to 15 per cent., and to British-made goods to 10 per cent.
