BOWLING.
BRITISH PLAYERS VISIT NELSON. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NELSON, Feb, 5. The British bowlers were officially we'comed this morning, and in the afternoon they played eight rinks representing the Nelson centre. Heavy showers of rain fell in the morning, but a beautifully line afternoon followed. The greens were on the heavy side, and a close contest resulted in a win for Nelson by HR to 148. The visitors won. on five rinks and Nelson on three.
