CROQUET.
HA,WEIR:A CLUB. A. pleasant afternoon was spent on the Hiawera Croquet Club’s lawns on Saturday, when progressive games were, played, the winners being Mrs. Hull for the A. grade, and Mrs. Wills for the B grade. The lawns were in good order and had benefited considerably by the recent rain. Afternoon tea was provided by Mesdames Gibson and French and Miss W. Huggins, and was much appreciated by all. Mrs. Hudson, from Mt. Albert 01 nib, Auckland, was a welcome visitor.
