FLUNKED SHIELD MATCH. THIS MORNING’S SCORE. (by telegraph—press association.) AUCKLAND, Jan. 11. The Plunket Shield match was resumed in fine weather to-day. The wicket was wet after heavy week-end rain. “Woods (107 not out 1 ) and MeEwan took strike to the bowling of Player and Snedden. The scoring was very slow, five runs coming from five overs, while it took 22 minutes to add 15. McEwan brought up the fourth century with a six. Findlay replaced Sandman, and at the luneli adjournment the score was 46 for no wickets —Anthony (not out) 21, Frater (not out) 21, extras 4.
