Referring to the splendid work of the Australian mounted troops ill Palestine, he deciared that cavalry would he used more in future' warfare than ever before. Aeroplanes and fasttanks delivering shock attacks would amplify the sphere of action for mounted troops, and tanks would enable supplies of munitions to be moved forward at a great pace, providing a moving base for cavalry.
