The Geneva correspondent of The Times states that the village of Schimberg, near Lucerne, is seriously menaced as the result of a landslide involving the surface of 74 acres, and containing fields and orchards which are rapidly descending on the village despite all preventive measures. Large crevasses have appeared at a distance of 150 yards from the first houses. — Times.
