PRINCE OF WALES.
NEW YEAR Al ESS AGIO TO EXSERVICE MEN. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Dec. 2, 12.10 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 1. The Prince of Wales, as patron of the British Legion, has sent, through the Legion’s journal, to all ox-service-men and. to widows and dependants of the fallen, his very best wishes for 1926. He says that he has now had the privilege of travelling through the British Commonwealth of Nations, had seen an enormous number of ex-service men and women, also widows and dependants, who. were kind enough to come to greet him. He rejoices to .realise that the same spirit of loyalty and affection to their country and the Empire ]iervades the countries he visited, as it is the case her e in the O’d Country. “May the new year bring you al] better times and thus reward you for all you and yours have done is my sineerest wish,” he concludes.—Reuter.
