OPERA HOUSE, TO-NIGHT. NEW YEAR’S NIGHT. “THE MIDNIGHT GIRD.” Given an unusually fine story, pins a splendid characterisation by its star, “The Midnight Girl,” starring Lila. Lee, which will be .screened at He Opera Mouse to-night, is one "1 the biggest productions released this year by Chadwick Pictures Corporation and will make a strong bid as one or the screen masterpieces of the year. With Lila Lee heading the cast, there is enough of .superlative acting _ to meet the demands of the most critical audiences. The theme ot the screen play is one that will appeal to both sexes of the movie-going public. THE GRAND—TO-NIGHT. DANTE’S “INFERNO.” If Dante’s wife had not possessed a bad temper, the world’s literature would not have been enriched by the Divine Comedy, according to some students of the great Italian poet, who say her irritability nut him m the frame of mind to write “Inferno, describing his journey through hell. Other commendations say that Beatrice. Dante’s childhood sweetheart, inspired his immortal writings. “Inferno,” the William Fox picture, will ho shown at. the Grand Theatre this evening.
