CENTENARIAN’S DEATH.
VETERAN OF THREE* WARS. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON. Dec. 28. John McCabe died in the Weßington Public Hospita l this morning aged 100 years and 9 months. He was a native of Ireland, and fought in the Crimean War, the Indian Mutiny and Maori War. Afterwards he settled in the Rangitikei district. About six years ago. he came to Wellington.
