A Detroit message states that the flight, the object of which, is the exploration of the uncharted sections of Polar seas, is also backed by the Detroit Aviation Society, of which Mr William Mazo is chief engineer and Mr Ford is president, but the Automobile Manufacturing Company officials deny that Mr Ford himself is interested in the project.
