WELLINGTON’S TEAM WAY SERVICE. (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 24. Owing to the competition of ’buses the policy of the tramways management has been modified this year, and skeleton services will be maintained by either trams or City Council ’buses where the latter are in operation. HOLIDAY TRAFFIC TO DUNEDIN. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 24. The holiday rush of visitors to the Dunedin Exhibition has given the rail, wav authorities the biggest problem they have had to handle for years. It was estimated that three thousand went South to Dunedin to-day. The ferry boats from ’Wellington yesterday brought 1550 people.
