SOLD LOTTERY TICKETS.
AN AUCKLAND PROSECUTION. (BY' TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 23. At the Police Court Joseph Kilgour Leaded guilty to. the disposing of two tickets in a 'lottery on the New Zealand Cup. It was started in Sydney, and Kilgour had a book of tickets sent to him and sold some of them. Mr Poynton, S.M. : “This country is simply saturated with lotteries. I received' two books myself some time ago and promptly destroyed them. 1 am satisfied the defendant has been a dupe of th© promoters. He will he ordered to pay costs.”
