NEW PLYMOUTH HARBOUR.

TENDER FOR STONE SUPPLIES ACCEPTED. (BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Dec. 17. The Harbour Board to-day accepted the tender of R. D. Climie and Co., subject to minor adjustments, for 40,000 tons of large stone for breakwater construction, and about an equal quantity of crushed stone and sand for concrete for wharf construction, at prices which will effect a great saving on the previously-estimated cost. The harbour construction material will come from an hitherto unexploited locality close to the main railway line.
