HAWERA PLUNKET SOCIETY.

MONTHLY MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Hawera branch of the Plunket Society was held yesterday. There were present: Mesdames Goodson (chair), Morris, Simpson, Blair, Tlait (treasurer) and Misses Corrigan and King (secretary). _ The annual fete, to be held in February, was discussed, and arrangements anade for the various stalls. The ccmmititee hopes the fete will 'be a great success, as last year it bad to be abandoned on account of the epidemic. Mrs. Simpson was asked to act as secretary to. the fete and Mr. \V. Jobson treasurer.

Nurse’s report was read, and showed: New eases, mothers and 'babies, 41; visits to office, 675; visits to homes, 259.
