DAIRY PRODUCTION
DECREASED OUTPUT. II DUE TO BAD SPRING. FALL IN REVENUE INDICATED, (BY TELEGRAPH —PEESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 24. It is intimated' by Mr W. Grounds, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Export Board of Control, that up to the present date there is a decline of from 15 to 20 per cent in production figures for the Dominion,, as compared with this period last' year. This was attributable to the almost incessant rains which heralded' the spring, and which were followed by continuous drying winds, resulting in the ground being parched and hardened to- a serious extent. Returns so far thus indicate that there will he a considerable decline in revenue, although much will depend on the prices secured at Home, when the market opens for the new vear. * ‘ ;
