SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS
COMMENCEMENT TO-MORROW. The annual scholarship examinations and the public service entrance and senior free' place will commence to-morrow. The first two will be devoted to the junior national scholarship and the senior national scholarship; intermediate examination and public service entrance will commence on November 27 and continue to December 4. The examinations in tli© Hawera centre will be held in the Rresbyterian Hall under the supervision of Rev. H.. Curran. Practical work, wood and metal, will be taken in the workshop at the Hawera Technical High School. The number of students' sitting„at Hawera is considerable. There are 33 sitting for the junior national scholarship. forty for intermediate and nine for public service entrance.
