A final reminder is given of tlie eaponising demonstration to-night >at 7.30 in the Winter Show Buildings (entrance by Dominion Hotel). These birds will mother chicks next season as good ias any hen, and will be sold by auction afterwards. A demonstration will also be given of discovering disease in fowls. The Christchurch City Council has passed a by-law making it compulsory on vehicles plying for hire to bear identification, plate in addition to that issued by the council.
