X The latest election returns indicate ’"That the Ministerial parties will have a majority of 29 in the House of Representatives. The Nationalists will also have a clear majority of one ovei all other parties.

ALARMED AT THE RESULT. •Received Nov. 20, 12.30 p.m. BRISBANE, Nov. 20. The Trades and Labour Council is alarmed at Labour’s defeat at the Federal elections, and is holding a congress of unions at an early date.
