Shepherd, secretary to the Australian High Commissioner, has returned from Cologne, Avhere he attended the unveiling of a war memorial m tRe British section of tlie cemetery. _ restates that 5089 British are buried in Germany in concentration cemeteries, including Cologne, Berlin, Cassell and Hamburg. Germany passed a special Act vesting the British section m the War Graves Commission, in perpetuity, besides laying out the grounds and erecting headstones. The cemetcuies au magnificently laid put and scrupulously cared for.
