OUR BABY.

He is only very little, and he hasn’t been here long; He has scarcely any hair —although his kick is mighty strong; He can make his mouth a button, yet can streteli it wide and round; His eyes and nose?—oh, well! a. sweeter baby can’t be found.

He can make a lot of noise—crow and gurgle, cough and sigh; He makes an effervescing sound' before he starts to cry; And when he brings the loud stop out, the one we can’t resist, 1-Ie knows that' he’ll be taken up and entertained and kissed.

He is happiest in the morning, when he squeals and kicks and smiles; He wins the heart of everyone with all his baby wiles. He’s a cuddlesome _wee morsel, and there is no doubt at all That lie’s ruler of the household, and holds us each in thrall.
