The British Minister in Teheran has informed Riza Khan that the British Government provisionally recognises the new regime, provided the hew Government recognises and complies with its predecessor’s obligations to Britain. —Times. CORONATION CELEBRATION, Received Nov. 7, 1.10 p.m. TEHERAN, Nov. 6. Riza Khan, the new Shah, attended an entertainment in celebration of the change of ruler, and was accorded an ovation. He was welcomed by the President of the Mejliss, who expressed the hope that Persia would make progress under his rule. Riza Khan replied, hoping that, with the help of the Mejliss, progress in economic, judicial and educational matters would be achieved.
