N.S.W. GOVERNMENT. LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL REJECTS A BILL. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION' -CO-PYRIGHI Received Nov. 6, 2.20 p.in. SYDNEY, Nov. 6. The Legislative Council has again flouted the Government and provided a further incentive to the Premier, Mr. Lang, to carry out his threat to abolish it.' The Council rejected, by 28 votes to 25, the second reading of the Bill providing for the nomination of women to the Council.
