One of the sensations of the election is the defeat of the Prime Minister and seven other Ministers in the Ontario province, with the largest number of seats, where the Conservatives secured a victory. It has only been paralleled twice since the confederation.

Agnes McPhail (Progressive) will again be the only woman member of the House. Three other women were unsuccessful. —Reuter.
