Complete figures relating to the entries of cattle at the approaching Royal Show at Christchurch, have been made available. As compared with last year’s Royal Show they are 71 fewer in number, but the total for this year’s Royal Show is an increase of 165 as compared with the Canterbury Metropolitan Show of last year. The totals are 477 against 558 at Manawatu. Shorthorns lead the list with 115 entries, Friesians coming next with 111. Ayrshires total 76 and Jerseys 60. The sheep entries are 445 more than for last years’ Royal Show.
