FRONTIER INCIDENT
GREECE SENDS ULTIMATUM.
INDEMNITY DEMANDED. ALSO AN APOLOGY. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. ATHENS, Oct. 21. The Greek Government sent an ultimatum to the Bulgarian Government in connection with the frontier incident, giving a time limit of 48 hours, demanding an indemnity of 2,000,000 French francs, an expression of regret, and .the punishment of those responsible. The Prime Minister states that troops for the time being are not enter, ing Bulgaria. They will be stationed along the frontier. The initiative for further measures is left to the commanding officer of the third army corps.
A POSSIBILITY. ADVANCE UPON SOFIA. LONDON, Oct. 22. The Daily News says: “In the event of Bulgaria refusing Greece’s demands, the Greeks are determined to advance upon Sofia. CAUSE OF THE TROUBLE. A GREEK FIRES FIRST SHOT. SOFIA, Oct. 22. A semi-official statement in regard to the frontier incident declares that a (Greek (pjokltfer -fired at a (Bulgarian sentry, who killed' this assailant.
