BOOM IN STOCKS.
FRENZIED TRADING IN WALL STREET. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. NEW YORK, Oct. 20. Wall Street’s frenzied trading was unabated to-day, 2,823,400 shares changing hands. Observers profess ignorance of the real cause of the bocm o,r the identity of those reaping the trenmendous profits accruing from soaring prices. It is pointed out that General Motors alone have increased -the stock market value to 160,000,000 dollars in the past three weeks. Many others increased proportionately.
