BIG NATIVE GATHERING. (by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) GISBORNE, Oct. 22. A large native gathering is to be held at Tikitiki, Waiapu district, in February next, as it is thought the Governor-General will be present when the memorial church will he opened and the soldiers’ monument unveiled. The Maoris are making provision for about two thousand guests.
