♦ AIRPLANE FLIGHT PROPOSED. AN AUSTRALIAN SCHEME. (By Telegraph.—Special to Siar.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. An airplane flight from Australia to New Zealand is being planned by Australian aviators, who have sought the co-operation of the New Zealand Government. The Prime Minister informed your correspondent that he has received a letter proposing the flight, but has not yet been able to consider the matter, which he has referred to the Defence Department.
