W. Brown (Hawera) writes asserting that the. rowdy element, in Mr Corrigan’s Paten meeting on Tuesday night consisted almost entirely of the candidate’s supporters from Hawera, that the chairman “closed down’’ on questions before the meeting wished' it, and that a motion of censure on the chair, which was thereupon moved, could mot be put because of the uproar. To say that the hostility to himself and three other visitors emanated from Paten residents is, says Mr Brown, “simply not correct.’’
