The Imperial Press delegates have arrived at Launceston. Viscount Burnham, referring to afforestation, said that the Government should place a fixed sum on the Estimates each year for this purpose. He had never seen a country better adapted than Tasmania, except possibly New Zealand, for the growth of valuable hard and soft woods.
