NOT DEAD YET.

JUNKER SPIRIT IN GERMANY. • RY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. BERLIN, Oct. 12. A Junker demonstration during the consecration of a war memorial to the Augusta Regiment aroused Republican indignation. Herr von Arnini, in consecrating the memorial in the Kaiser’s name, said : “We think of him in reverential gratitude and unchangeable loyalty. The supreme law for all of us is fidelity to the articles of war. This day will be meaningless unless it strengthens us to work and fight for the welfare of the Fatherland.’’ Herr von Amim’s outburst gained greater significance when President Hindenburg arrived and laid a wreath on the memorial, which was inscribed, “From our bones an avenger will arise.” President Hindenburg, referring to the dead soldiers, said: “Your blood won’t he shed in vain.”
