ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE GRAND TO-NIGHT. “THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES." Much of the action in the Stoll screen version of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's full length Sherlock Holmes, story, “The Hound of the Baskervilles,'' to be shown at the Grand Theatre this evening, is supposed to take place on Dartmoor, but some of the minor Dartmoor scenes were actually filmed in the region of Guildford. Thursley is the name of the village that temporarily did duty' for Dartmoor, and its scenery is so appropriate that on the screen it will bo impossible to tell the real from the make-believe. The Hawera season closes this evening.
