Sheep.—Extra prime heavy wethers, £2 10s; heavy prime, £2 5s 6d to £2 7s; medium prime, £2 3s to £2 4s; light, £2 to £2 2<s; others, 35s 6d to 395; best heavy prime ewes to £2; medium; 32s 6d to 35s 6d; others, 30s to 325. Spring Lambs. —There was a good yarding, which sold readily. Best heavy prime made £1 16s to £1 18s; medium, £1 12s 6d to £1 15s; light, £1 8s 6d to £1 11s.

BURNSIDE PRICES. DUNEDIN, Oct. 7. The prices realised by fat cattle at Burnside to-day made tlie sale the dearest of the season. There was a further advance ofi more than £1 per head on last week’s high rates. Store cattle sold well, and so did the handful of spring lambs that was penned. Sheep were somewhat dearer.
