HAWERA FIRE BRIGADE.
COMPETITIONS TO-MORROW. •Honorary members and all interested in the Fire Brigade are invited attend the annual competition of members for the Osborne cup and gold ifieda a on Wednesday afternoon, October 7, commencing at 2.30 o’clock in Albion Street, near the swimming oaths. The officers and members would ike the public t-o attend in large number.,; to show that their interest is not lacking in the good work of the brigade.
Coupling competitions will be held for the following trphies:—lst prize, Osborne cup, and gold medal presented .by Mrs A. Morrison; 2nd prize, gold medal presented by Mr E. A. Pacey; 3rd prize, trophy value £1 Is, by Miss Corrigan.
