MOROCCAN CAMPAIGN.
NUMEROUS AIR RAIDS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT FEZ, Oct. 4. Ninety-eight separate air raids by French machines last night heralded general action in the French centre sector. Just before dawn several columns advanced in the dim light and reached the formidable Senhadja-Massif tribesmen, who were apparently numbed and disconcerted by the aerial bombardment, which was the first important night operation by aeroplanes in Morocco. The French advance is developing favourably.
