FOKKER SAFETY PLANE. ACTRESSES IN AIR. NEW YORK, Sept. <2l. At Curtis Field, with ten Broadway actresses aboard, a Fokker monoplane to-day demonstrated for the first time in the United States that a ’plane carrying passengers can be free from mishap when stalled. The machine refused to sideslip, spin, or whip down, but glided down safely by means of its peculiar wing design.
