FIRE FIGHTING PLANT.

PAMPHLET ON ITS MANIPULATION. COMPLIMENT TO HAWERA SUPERINTENDENT. At the half-yearly executive Fire Brigade Conference a comprehensive pamphlet, dealing with the manipulation of fire fighting appliances, was read by Superintendent A. Morrison, of Hawera. This was intended for the help of the smaller brigades of the Dominion. After discussion it was resolved to print and circulate a copy to each of the affiliated brigades.. In coming to this decision the conference agreed that this was the best paper of its kind yet written, and many complimentary remarks were made by delegates. It is a distinct compliment to the Hawera superintendent (Mr A. Morrison) and a recognition of his good work.
