After-a conference between the President (Mr Coolidge) and the American Commission on Thursday, Mr Mellon Secretary to the Treasury, issued a gAgtement saying that French members""were informed on Wednesday evening that “their proposals were not likely to be accepted.” Mr Me 1 Jon added: “No proposal has been made acceptable to the American commission and none have been submitted to the President for approval.’ —Reuter. __
