Advice from Fez states that at a meeting of the administrative council of French Morocco, Marshal Lyautey, resident general, announced that he had asked the French Government to replace him. Rainstorms in the Taza region of Morocco presage the beginning of the rainy season, which is likely to delay the maturity of the French plans. The River Msoun is flooded, dislocating communication between Fez and Taza. The French are making slow headway against the attacks of the Riff sharpshooters. v 1 ’
