STARTLING ALLEGATION. ENGINE OF TR AIN TAMPERED WITH. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION—COPYEHIGT. (Received Sep. 23, 10.30 a.m.) BUENOS AYRES,. Sep. 22. It is reported from Gunin that the stationmaster discovered that the engine which wa's picked up by the train carrying the Prince of Wales had been tampered with. The cylinders were opened and pieces of metal inserted in. such a way that when the brakes were used the escape of steam would) have been hampered. The report has not been confirmed. —Sydney Sun Cable. PRINCE TO SAIL ON SATURDAY. BUENOS AYRES, Sep. 22. The Prince of Wales .has arrived] here on his return from Chile. He will leave to-morrow for Chapadmal ranch, where he will remain until Saturday, embarking on that day by H.M.S. Repulse for England.
