There is no market for British coal in Russia, is the gist of <a report forwarded t:o the Department of Overseas Trade by members of a British mission in Moscow. This makes dismal reading to those cherishing the illusion that a great potental market existed there.
The /report shows that the Sovietlilas the greatest difficulty in selling its own product, even at a losis, which it has been doing expressly to undercut British coal on the overseas markets. —Times.
