Mr Poynton, S.3VL, imposed a sentence of three days’ imprisonment. Defendant’s counsel pleaded for a fine, as in the case last week of another professional man. Mr Poynton : “Yes, he was fined £2, hut lie damaged his car to the extent of £35. Eventually he considered the matter, and imposed a fine of £25 in the present case.
