REGRETS SHE WAS NEVERTAUGHT DOMESTIC SCIENCE. LONDON, Aug. 10. Teaching of domestic science subjects in ~schools was urged by the Duches>si ol Athol-1, M.P., in distributing prizes art Tiffin Girls’ Secondary School, King-ston-on-Thames. Such teaching would fill a gap that could not be filled in 'any other way She spoke feelingly, .she added, because such subjects were omitted from her own .school work, and she had always regretted it. The occupation of home-making was one of the most important tilings in life. It made life more interesting, and if girl® -knew the principles of it, it would make all the difference to the health -and coanfiort of people who might he dependent on them.
